LAKELAND, Fl. - FCC's leadoff hitter Brett Stallings continues to swing a hot stick to start off the season. He had quite a day at the plate with a double and triple to lead the Cougars to victory. He is now hitting a cool .400 on the season and continues to set the tone. Teammates Jacob Berry (2 2B), Jacob Wetzel, and Priamo Lozada (3B) joined the hit parade each with a pair of hits. Mitch Long and Lozada tripled in the win. With the win, FCC improves to 4-3 on the year.
FCC starting pitcher AJ Cieslinski picked up the win on the hill. He pitched five innings and recorded six punchouts to improve to 1-1 on the season.
