Cougars Light Up Scoreboard In Victory Over Monroe CC

LAKELAND, Fl.- The (RV) Frederick Community College offense exploded for 15 hits as they pushed across 12 runs in the victory over Monroe Community College. The Cougars defeated Monroe CC, 12-4. FCC wraps up their spring trip with an overall record of 5-3 and extends their win streak to two games. They will host Stevenson University JV for a DH on Tuesday (3/12) for their home opener. First pitch is set for 1:00 P.M.

Brett Stallings is on fire at the plate. He tallied four hits in the victory and knocked in three runs. He is batting .457 on the year and has 16 hits in eight games. Stallings had two doubles, a homer, and three RBIs. Jacob Wetzel (.536 BA), Jacob Berry and Priamo Lozado each had a pair of hits. Berry dialed it up for his first long ball on the season, along with a triple. Mitch Long and John Harding each doubled in the victory.

On the mound, Brayden Coe (2-0) picked up his second win on the season. He pitched 5.1 innings and recorded four strikeouts, yielding eight hits.
