FCC Baseball Winning Streak Extends to Five

FREDERICK, Md. –  FCC right-handed pitcher Brodey Neveker turned a strong performance out of the bullpen as he led the Cougars to victory over Montgomery College on Wednesday afternoon on the campus of Frederick Community College. Neveker improves to 3-1 on the hill this season. He gave up just one hit over 4.1 innings of work on the mound. Max "The Cannon" recorded the final six outs to earn his second save on the season.

Trailing 2-0 after five innings of play, the Cougars cranked up the offense in the sixth and seventh innings. Austin Kuntz, Brett Stallings, and Mitch Long were clutch in the comeback. Kuntz had a hit and knocked in a pair of teammates. Stallings (.353 BA) had a pair of doubles and tallied three RBIs. Long (.370 BA) laced two hits and drove in two runs to secure the win.
