FREDERICK, MD. – Congratulations to Frederick Community College head baseball coach Rodney Bennett for reaching the 700-win plateau for his career today as the #7 Cougars defeated visiting Gettysburg College JV, 15-6, on the campus of Frederick Community College. The FCC offense was clicking on all cylinders today as they pounded out 14 hits in the milestone win. The Cougars are now 23-3 overall, including 11-2 in the MD JUCO conference. FCC will return to the diamond on Saturday for a critical matchup versus CCBC Catonsville in Region 20 D2 action. The first pitch will cross home plate at 1 PM.

Joshua Wilson, Aidan Masters, Aidan Greaney, and Jared Mammano each had two hits in the win. Greaney smacked two doubles in the victory and knocked in three runs. Wilson also drove in three runs for the victorious Cougars. Both Wilson and Greaney have been seeing the ball extremely well and not getting shortchanged at the plate.
