McHenry, MD. – The No. 8 Frederick Community College Cougars traveled 132 miles to Garrett College on Friday afternoon for a doubleheader in Region 20 D2 action. The Cougars won both games and sport an overall record of 27-5, including 15-4 in MD JUCO action.
It was an absolute hitting clinic put on today by the FCC offense as they started swinging the bats right when they got off the bus. Here are the stats:
- FCC outscored the Lakers by a count of 47-8 in the doubleheader
- FCC tallied 34 hits on the day
- FCC registered their two highest run totals this season (21, 26)
- FCC clubbed a total of 12 home runs today – two were grand slams (Acal & Antone)
