Cougars Downed Jackson College Jets 5-3 

FCC Cougars secured a hard-fought 5-3 victory over Jackson College Jets on Friday.

The scoring action kicked off in the third inning when Nick Keane's sacrifice fly brought in two runs, putting FCC Cougars ahead.

However, the Jets fought back in the bottom of the sixth inning, with a single helping them tie the game at three runs apiece.

In a pivotal moment in the top of the seventh inning, Bryce Curry's single drove in one run, breaking the tie and giving FCC Cougars the lead. A well-executed double play but not before the Cougars extended their lead to 5-3.

Zac Rose started on the mound for FCC Cougars, pitching five solid innings and conceding only one unearned run on five hits. Keane provided crucial relief pitching for FCC Cougars, tossing one inning without conceding a run.

At the plate, FCC Cougars' Jake Holler led the team with two hits in four at-bats. Curry made his presence felt in the lineup, driving in two runs. The Cougars recorded three stolen bases throughout the game.
