Brendan Kleiman, from FCC to SEC

​On the same day as the 2025 MLB Draft, Frederick CC Cougars Baseball alum Brendan Kleiman announced his commitment to the University of Arkansas. After two seasons at The Rick and going on to play at Eastern Michigan, the senior transfer will catch in the SEC for the Razorbacks. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound native of Olney, MD, spent his first two collegiate seasons at FCC (22'-23'), where his team reached back-to-back Junior College World Series. He hit .350 in 58 games, scored 48 runs, and recorded 31 RBI in junior college with two home runs. At EMU, Kleiman played in 34 games for the Eagles, starting 33. He posted 14 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games with 27 RBI in 124 at-bats, boasting a .964 OPS. He finished the season with a .363 batting average, the second-best on the team.
