FCC men’s basketball wins nail-biter over CCBC Dundalk

BALTIMORE, Maryland – Big-time players make big time plays and that is exactly what CJ Williams did for FCC when they needed it most. The silky-smooth southpaw scored a team-high 24 points as FCC (11-16, 6-6) defeated CCBC Dundalk (19-9, 9-4), 73-68.

The Cougars took a 41-32 advantage into the locker room after 20 minutes of play. In the second half, FCC would build a 59-48 lead, but the Lions would not go away quietly. They would roar back and trail by just a bucket with 80 seconds to play. However, a key defensive steal and lay-up by Juwan Burnett would push the lead to 69-65 with a minute to play.
