Second Half Lead Slips Away in Home Defeat

FREDERICK, Md. – Frederick Community College led by 11 points with 14 minutes remaining in the contest in Monday's game at home against Montgomery College, but the visiting Raptors closed out the game on a 38-16 run to turn the Cougars away by the score of 77-66. With the loss, FCC sits at 0-8, as the Raptors improve to 10-6.

FCC registered four players in double figures. Adrian Adlam scored a team-high 23 on 9-of-18 from the field, including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc. Adlam filled up the stat sheet with five rebounds, four assists, and three swipes. Teammates Alexander Williams and Jack McGaha chipped in with 13 and 10 points respectively. Brayden Jones continues to be a force in the middle as he turned in a strong performance with a double-double. Jones scored 10 points and cleaned up on the glass with 12 boards. Tyriel Collins was in the giving mood as he dished out a team-high seven dimes.
