David Diaz Guzman Selected to NJCAA All-America Team
David Diaz Guzman received NJCAA Division II All-America Team honors for his standout performance during the 2022 soccer season.
Diaz Guzman was named a Third Team All-American for men's soccer. The Tuscarora High School graduate is a true freshman from Frederick, MD. He had an impressive debut season for the Cougars, playing as an attacking midfielder. He completed the season with eight goals, 28 points, and 12 assists, good for seventh in the country in assists.
Diaz Guzman was directly involved (scored or assisted) in 37% of FCC's 557 goals during the 2022 season. In addition, he is an academic leader on the team, performing at a high level in the classroom and on the pitch.
In addition to his All-America Team selection, he was DII Soccer NJCAA All-Region 20 First Team.
