Cougars drops third straight

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina – The FCC softball dropped a pair of games on Monday afternoon by the scores of 2-0 (vs. Schoolcraft) and 12-0 (vs. Danville Area CC).  With the two losses, it is the third straight game the Cougars have been shutout, and sit at 2-3 overall on the season.

In the two losses, FCC went 3-for-39 at the dish. In game one, FCC starting pitcher Kathleen Duffy (0-1) was hit with the loss on the mound. Emma Bedford and Mikayla Toms each recorded a single.

In game two, Mikayla Toms was tagged with the loss in the circle. She falls to 1-1 on the season. Ryleigh Bolyard singled for the lone hit.

ON DECK

The Cougars will return to the diamond on Tuesday afternoon for a double header. FCC will square off against Schoolcraft at 1:30, and then take on Grand Rapids CC.
