Softball Falls To Schoolcraft

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina - The Frederick Community College softball team lost to Schoolcraft College 6-1 on Tuesday afternoon. With the loss, FCC sits at 2-4 overall, including four consecutive setbacks.

At the dish, Ryleigh Bolyard smacked a double and registered an RBI. Teammates Taylor Beckley and Kathleen Duffy each recorded a hit.

FCC starting pitcher Whitney Dickerson had a strong outing. She pitched five innings and gave up just five hits and one earned run. She was relieved by Rachel Benden who was tagged with the loss. She falls to 1-2 on the season.

ON DECK

The Cougars will return to the diamond on Wednesday night for a doubleheader. FCC will take on Rowan College at Burlington County at 9:30, and then take on Midway College JV at 1:30 PM.
