Sickeri Selected NJCAA DII Region 20 Player of the Month for March

Avery Sickeri was selected as the Softball NJCAA DII Region 20 Player of the Month for March 2024! 

Sickeri started all ten games for the Cougars in March. Sickeri had a remarkable performance both at the plate and in the field. She hit .679 (19-28) with six doubles, three triples, and three home runs. Sickeri crossed the plate herself 11 times and drove in 10 runs. In 35 plate appearances, she drew five walks and did not strike out a single time. She totaled an on-base percentage of .743 and slugged a staggering 1.357 in 10 games. Defensively, her play at second base has been flawless: in 29 chances, she recorded 12 putouts and 17 assists without committing an error for a perfect fielding percentage of 1.000.
