THREE STRAIGHT WINS! Frederick Cougars women's basketball dominated Virginia Peninsula Community College Gators 84-53 Sunday afternoon.
It was all Frederick as the team outscored their opponents in the first quarter 25-11. The Cougars team effort was there as they recorded 24 assists and 18 steals. Jasmine Hardy recorded her second double-double, finishing with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Paige Smith Also scored 19 points and had eight assists with six rebounds.
Alaysia Jemmott scored 14 points, and Amelia Robins scored seven and seven rebounds with seven assists. Andrea Owusu came off the bench, had eight points, and pulled down 13 rebounds.
The Cougars sit just one game back from .500 and have rattled off three wins in a row, outscoring their opponents 267-177 in the three-game stretch.
