Bio

Coach Sheldon Henry returned to the sidelines for the Frederick Community College Cougars on July 7, 2022, where he held the post from 2016-2020. In four seasons as Head Coach for the Cougars, Henry compiled a record of 44-48, including 23-23 in MD JUCO action.  

From 2013-2016, Henry served as the head varsity girls' basketball coach at St. Maria Goretti High School, where he tallied an overall record of 51-31. Before his appointment at St. Maria Goretti HS, Henry spent five years as the head girls' basketball coach at St. John's Catholic Prep in Frederick. In 2011-12, he led St. John's to a 23-4 season and a second straight Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland championship.

Henry holds a bachelor’s degree from Adelphia University at Long Island, N.Y., and earned his master’s in business administration from the University of the District of Columbia in Washington, D.C.
