Three Cougars Women’s Soccer Players Selected to the DII All-Region 20 Team

Frederick Cougars' student-athletes Kerri Donohue (Linganore HS), Gemma Carioti (Middletown HS), and Georgia Arhos (Oakdale HS) were selected to the DII Women's Soccer NJCAA All-Region 20 Team, as voted on by regional head coaches. Donohue was selected to the first team, and Gemma Carioti and Georgia Arhos were selected to the second team. 

Donohue started every game for the Cougars and was the team's leading scorer with five goals on the season. In addition, she had a shot on goal percentage of .619.

Georgia Arhos was the starting goalie and played every minute of every game for the Cougars. Arhos lead all of DII Region 20 in saves making 102 saves. Arhos had a save percentage of .734, good for fifth best in the region. She recorded a season-high 19 saves vs. Harford Community College.

Gemma Carioti is the team's only true sophomore and was vital to the team's midfield. Carioti led the team in shots and shots on goal. She had shot on goal percentage of .542
