Cougars Volleyball Victorious Over Skipjacks 3-1

On Wednesday evening, the Frederick Cougars volleyball team showed resilience, bouncing back after a tough loss to Potomac State. The Cougars came out strong, winning the first two sets and ending the match after four sets, defeating the Chesapeake College Skipjacks 3-1 (25-19, 25-15, 24-26, 25-20) in an exciting match. This victory marked Coach Scurry's first collegiate win as Head Coach and gave her team their first win of the season.

In today's match, FCC won their first set since August 22 against Montgomery, snapping their 18-set tailspin and 7-game losing streak. It was a fantastic team effort; every player contributed to this significant win.

The Cougars look to keep the momentum going as they hit the road for their next match, facing College of Southern Maryland on Thursday, September 21, with a 6 p.m. start time.
