While attending FCC, Corie was named to the 2001 All-Region XX Team, and to both the All- Region XX and All-American teams in 2002. He transferred to Marshall University, from which he graduated in 2005. During his time at Marshall, he was a member of the 2004 National Amateur Baseball Federation World Series Championship Team.
Corie also played baseball with the NABF Brunswick Orioles until 2007. That team won the NABF World Series in 2004. He was named a National Amateur Baseball Federation All- American in 2007. Corie currently works as a Project Manager for Ryan Homes.
“I came to FCC as a stepping stone to get a scholarship to a four-year school,”Corie said. “What I got out of FCC was more than that. I got an education first that helped prepare me for life. Second, I made memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.”
