Personal Statement about FCC Experience:
“FCC was one of the best decisions of my life. It was the perfect stepping stone from high school to college. Not only did I get to continue to play basketball near my hometown, but I was able to take collegiate courses to start my educational career. I took 15 to 19 credit hours each semester at FCC and all professors were supportive of my basketball schedule. FCC prepared me to continue my education at a four-year institution. Fortunately I never once had a student loan because FCC had an agreement with Shepherd which allowed me to get in-state tuition. This allowed my husband and I to start our lives without school debt before starting our family.”
