Personal Statement about FCC Experience:
“I had a wonderful experience attending FCC from 1992-1994. It was a great transition for me from high school to FCC, and then to a four-year school – Frostburg State University. I was able to be close to home while attending college, hold a part-time job, and play basketball. College basketball was something I never thought I’d be able to accomplish, so I was proud just to make the FCC Women’s basketball team and be successful. My coach was Mr. Jack Mehl, who just so happened to be my math teacher at Brunswick High School, so it felt very comfortable to have him for my coach. I had a wonderful time with him and my teammates who became my friends and I still keep in touch with some of them.
I am also happy to announce that my son Dylan Mangold now attends FCC as a freshman. It warms my heart to see him following in my footsteps as he starts his college career. He is enjoying his experience here as much as I did.”
