FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick Community College men's soccer team exploded for four second half goals to break open a scoreless game and defeat Hagerstown Community College 4-0 in the home opener for the Cougars. In two games this season, FCC has outscored their opponents 8-0. The Cougars are 2-0 overall on the season.
Four different players found the back of the net for the Cougars in the second half. Three of the four goals scored were in a five minute span. Vagner Marques-Rodriguez (51st minute), Tareeq Chambers (53rd minute) Emmanuel Agyei (55th minute), and Gabe Capone-Highfield (66th minute). For Chambers, it is his second goal on the season.
Credit FCC goalie Ismael Hernandez for another shutout in goal. He played the complete game and continues to be a force in goal for the Cougars.
FCC will return to the pitch on Wednesday (9/11/19) when they travel to Howard Community College to take on the Dragons. Ball will drop at 4:00 P.M.
