FREDERICK, Maryland – The #14 FCC men's soccer team took the field on Tuesday afternoon for a matchup with Harford Community College. The Cougars jumped on the scoreboard in the 14th minute thanks to a header by Tareeq Chambers. FCC would take a 1-0 lead into halftime and close out the second half by tallying three more goals to earn the 4-0 shutout. FCC sits at 10-1 (9-0 MD JUCO) on the season. Harford falls to 6-5, including 4-4 in conference play.
Chambers was an absolute force on the pitch today. He tallied three goals and came through in the clutch. Luis Alanis found the back of the net for the fourth goal in the 88th minute. Chris Manful, Kofi Bonsu, Jordi Fotso, and Ronin Robertson each had an assist in the win.
