Men’s soccer falls in double OT on Sophomore Day, 2-1
FREDERICK, Maryland - The Cougars dropped a tough match on Saturday afternoon to Richard Bland by the score of 2-1. Heading into the contest, both teams were receiving votes in NJCAA DI national polls. With the loss, the Cougars drop their second straight and sit at 11-4 (10-2 MD JUCO) on the year. Richard Bland is 13-2 on the season.
FCC's Michael White score the lone goal for the Cougars in the 32nd minute of the match. On the season, it was his fourth goal of the year. Gonzalo Bazan had the hot foot for the Statesmen. He scored both goals for Richard Bland and has found the back of the net 16 times.
