Coach Dustin Wise enters his second season as the Head Coach of Men’s Soccer at Frederick Community College following a 2023 debut that concluded with the program finishing the regular season ranked #20 nationally by United Soccer Coaches.

Prior to coming to Frederick, Coach Wise was the Head Coach at Allegany College of Maryland for two seasons and the Head Coach at Central Penn College for two seasons where he mentored multiple all-region and all-academic team players.  His program at ACM also saw an impressive year to year turnaround between 2021 and 2022 in which they had the largest goal differential improvement of any collegiate program in the country.

In total, Coach Wise has been coaching since 2008 with time spent across the club, collegiate, and high school levels.  He also spent two years working in the front office of the USL franchise, Harrisburg City Islanders, as their Director of Player Operations. 2024 will be his sixth season as a collegiate Head Coach.

Style of Play:

“I like to play a game that is derived around our team having the ball or going through the right measures to get it back, as quickly as possible.  I believe that we will always outwork our opponent and find success through the grit of doing the little things right.”

Other:

Outside of soccer, Coach is a teacher with Frederick County Public Schools and a Proud Veteran of the United States Air Force.  He is an avid supporter of all Philadelphia sport teams, especially the Flyers.  He and his wife, Brooke, live in Greencastle, Pennsylvania with their two children and two dogs.
