Jacobson Shines For FCC As Volleyball Sweeps CCBC Essex
FREDERICK, Maryland – What a night for FCC freshman Devyn Jacobson. She recorded a game-high eight kills on the night as the Cougars defeated CCBC Essex, 3-0. FCC extends its win streak to two and sports an overall record of 8-3 (7-2 MD JUCO). The Knights fall to 3-9 on the year, including a record of 3-5 in conference play.
Jacobson had plenty of support from her teammates. Noel Snow and Rylind Abshire each recorded five kills. As a team, the Cougars hit .291 in the win. FCC was lethal from the serving line, tallying 14 service aces. Clarisse Diaz and Snow each had four service aces. Diaz recorded a game-high five digs.
