
Keith Thompson
Men’s Basketball, 1993-1994
As a star guard on the FCC men’s basketball team from 1993 to 1994, Keith Thompson led the nation in scoring, averaging 32.2 points per game. He holds the FCC record for most points in a season with 903 and most points in a game with 45. He previously held the record for steals in a game with 10, a record broken by fellow Hall of Fame Inductee Elyon Bush.
During each of Thompson’s two seasons at FCC, he was named a First Team All-American, First Team All-Region, and Maryland JUCO
All-Conference Team.
Thompson went on to play basketball at Johnson C. Smith University during his junior year and then Barton College during his senior year. He helped lead both schools to the NCAA Regional Tournament.
