FCC Baseball Remains Perfect
WINCHESTER, Va. – The No. 20 Frederick Community College Cougars hit the road to take on Shenandoah University JV. The Cougars pounded out 10 hits and defeated the Hornets, 11-7. With the victory, FCC improves to 4-0 on the season.
FCC leadoff hitter Jared Pine continues to set the table for the heart of the order. Pine had a nice day at the plate going 3-for-5 (2 2B, 3 R, 2 RBIs). Brandon Austin had a pair of hits and first baseman Brady Harju deposited his second home run on the season. Harju knocked in two runs and scored twice.
FCC relief pitcher Patrick Foster picked up the win. He tossed two innings and recorded four strikeouts.
