Naylor, McGinnis propel baseball to victory
CATONSVILLE, Md. – FCC starting pitcher Keagan McGinnis had himself quite a week. The hard-throwing righty picked up his second win of the week as FCC defeated CCBC Catonsville in game two, 11-5. McGinnis tossed six innings and struck out 9 batters on the day. He improves to 3-1 on the year and he continues to turn in quality starts on the hill. McGinnis has 45 strikeouts in 33.2 innings of work.
FCC designated hitter Eric Naylor is on fire at the dish. He went 3-for-5 in game two against the Cardinals. Naylor connected on his fourth dinger of the year, smoked a double and a single to raise his average to .421 on the season. He is currently riding a nine-game hitting streak. Hayden Kissel went 3-for-5 and scored three runs in the victory. Thomas Gonzalez and Jared Pine (.379 BA) chipped in with two hits each. FCC pounded out 13 hits in game two!
