FREDERICK, Md. – Today's first game picked up where we left off due to darkness a couple of weeks ago. The score was 9-9 as play resumed as FCC was the visiting team on the scoreboard. FCC wasted little time and put up a three spot to secure the 12-9 victory.
For the game, FCC pounded out 15 hits in the victory. Eric Naylor and Brady Harju had three hits, including two doubles each. Mark Minicozzi also smacked three hits. Jared Pine and Josh Greenberg registered a pair of hits. Greenberg knocked in three runs and Minicozzi had two RBIs.
Teagan Staver earned the win on the mound to improve to 1-1 on the year. Nick Pantos came out of the bullpen to secure his first save of the year.
