MILES-TONE! Wyatt hits for the cycle!

BABSON PARK, FL – Heading into Tuesday's contest, FCC third baseman Wyatt Miles was searching for his first hit of the season. Miles left the ballpark Tuesday night joining an elite group as he hit for the cycle in a 14-4 rout for FCC over Webber International University. Miles had himself quite a day at the dish, going 4-for-5 in the lopsided win. He doubled in the third, singled in the fifth, homered in the sixth, and tripled in the seventh. Miles recorded six RBIs on a historical day!

Miles had plenty of support from his teammates. The top five hitters for FCC did major damage for the offense. Demetri Jamison, Nicco German, Justin Acal, Brodey Neveker, Brendan Long, and Miles went a combined 16-for-29 at the plate. The baseball was jumping off the bats for the Cougars. Long left the building for his second homer on the season and crossed home plate four times. German ran really fast around the bases and registered his first triple on the year. 

Aiden Fernandez (1-0) picked up the win on the hill, tossing 3.1 innings, fanning four batters in the outing. Evan Evans III pitched the ninth to seal the victory for FCC.

UP NEXT

#13 FCC (4-1) will return to the diamond for a doubleheader on 3/3 vs. Century College (0-0). The first pitch is set for 4:30 PM.
