
No. 3 Baseball Extends Win Streak To 13 Games
FREDERICK, MD. - The No. 3 FCC Cougars defeated Shenandoah University JV by the count of 9-4 to make it a clean sweep over the Hornets. With the win, the Cougars are winners of 13 straight and sport a record of 37-5 overall on the historical season. FCC will return to the diamond on Thursday at home to wrap up regular season play against the Seahawks from Cecil College. The first pitch is set to cross home plate at 1 PM.
The top of the order delivered for FCC as Demetri Jamison, Aidan Masters, and Justin Acal went a total of 6-for-11 in the win. Nicco German barrelled up the baseball in the win as the lefty found the gap on a pair of doubles. He went 2-for-3 in the win with a pair of RBIs. The 1-2 punch of Jamison and Masters at the top of the lineup continues to get it done. Jamison is leading the team in doubles with 16 and is batting. 373. Masters is hitting .385 and has registered 40 RBIs!
Credit the pitching staff combination of Adam Watkins, Aiden Fernandez, and Evan Evans III for recording the final 15 outs of the game out of the bullpen to preserve the win. Fernandez (2-1) picks up the win by tossign two innings.
