
Cougars Surge Past Grove City (PA) 14-2
In a showcase performance, Josh Erd led FCC Cougars to a resounding 13-2 victory over Bryant & Stratton Bobcats (WI) on Monday, with three hits in four at-bats. Erd's contributions included a solo home run to right field in the first inning, a triple in the fourth inning, and another single in the fourth.
The game turned heavily in FCC Cougars' favor with a seven-run explosion in the fourth inning. Bryce Curry's double, Nick Varda's single, Jake Holler getting hit by a pitch, Cam Baker's sacrifice fly, and Erd's triple all added to the offensive attack.

Bryant & Stratton Bobcats managed to tie the game in the bottom of the first inning. However, FCC Cougars swiftly regained the lead in the top of the second inning due to an error that scored two runs, followed by a sacrifice fly by Daniel Herrera, extending their lead to 5-2.
Matt Koeneke started on the mound for FCC Cougars, allowing three hits and two runs over two innings, with three strikeouts and two walks. Joey Serafin stepped in as a reliever for FCC, pitching three solid innings without conceding a hit or run while striking out four and issuing no walks.
The FCC Cougars had ten hits in the game, with Curry leading the charge with a perfect four hits in four at-bats. They executed one double play defensively.
