
Cougars Dominated Del Tech 93-69
Frederick Community College Cougars men's basketball dominated Delaware Technical Community College on Saturday afternoon, winning with a final score of 93-69.
From the beginning, FCC set the tone by outscoring Del Tech in the first half. The score at halftime was 45-34 in favor of Frederick. They continued their strong performance in the second half, outscoring their opponents 48-35.
Cougars had an impressive shooting percentage of 51.4% overall, compared to Del Tech's 37.9%. They also had a higher three-point shooting percentage, with 28.6%, compared to Del Tech's 35%. Frederick Community College also had a better free throw percentage, shooting 57.9% from the line, while Del Tech shot 81.8%.
Leading the way for FCC was Justin Morrisey, who had an outstanding game with 31 points. He shot 13-18 from the field and made two three-pointers. Malik Witherspoon also had a strong performance, contributing 23 points and an impressive 20 rebounds. Jaden Arrington added 17 points for the Cougars.
Despite their efforts, Del Tech struggled to keep up with Frederick Community College's strong offense and dominant rebounding. Frederick Community College outrebounded their opponents, with 46 total rebounds compared to Del Tech's 25.
