
Cougars Can’t Overcome Slow Start Dropping to Cardinals 79-69
Frederick Community College men's basketball put up a fight in the second half but couldn't overcome an early deficit, falling 79-69 to CCBC Catonsville. After trailing 36-23 at halftime, the Cougars came out firing in the second half, outscoring the Cardinals 46-43, but Catonsville maintained control down the stretch.
Aiden Igwebe and Mike Davis led the charge with 14 points each, while Julian Ludwig provided a spark off for the Cougars with 15 points, knocking down three big shots from beyond the arc.
The Cougars now sit at 7-12 overall and 3-9 in Region 20 DII play as they prepare for their next game on the road against Delaware Technical Community College on February 6 at 6:00 PM.
