FCC women's hoops drops second straight game
Banks puts in strong performance in loss to Harford
WASHINGTON, DC - Offense was hard to come by for the Frederick Community College women's basketball team on Sunday afternoon in their final game of the National TITLE IX Holiday Invitational. The lack of offense led to a 70-49 loss to Harford Community College in a non-conference matchup. With the loss, FCC falls to 10-4 on the season as the Fighting Owls sit at 13-2.
Amiah Banks paced FCC with a game-high 23 points on 7-of-19 shooting from the field as she played the entire game. Banks had a solid weekend as she tallied 57 points over the three game stretch. Teammate Makaala Ambush chipped in with 10 points in 30 minutes of action.
Next Time Out
The Cougars will get some much needed rest and return to the hardwood on 1/11/20 vs. Hagerstown Community College. The game will take place on the campus of FCC with a tip time of 1:00 PM.
