Dominant pitching, power at the plate drive Cougars to DH sweep of Delta
WINTER HAVEN, Florida – The # 17 Frederick Community College baseball team continues to roll this season. The Cougars outscored Delta College today by the score of 21-0 in a total of 10 innings of play. FCC remains perfect with an 8-0 overall record.

Jacob Wetzel (2-0) was spectacular on the mound for the Cougars as he picked up his second win of the season. The southpaw tossed five innings, striking out seven batters, giving up just one hit. He had plenty of support from his offense.
The Cougars pounded out 12 hits in the victory. Brett Stallings and Justin Acal each had three hits. Priamo Lozada smacked a double and knocked in three in the win. Nicco German continues to find a way to get on base as he tallied three walks.
GAME TWO (5 innings)

Have a day Brett Stallings and Justin Acal. Stallings collected another three hits in the second game and is now batting .360 on the season. Acal is on fire and continues to rip the cover off the baseball. He tattooed a pair of doubles and is hitting a cool .462 on the young season. In eight games this season, Acal has a total of 12 hits. That is getting it done. He also knocked in three runs in the win. Nicco German recorded a hit and sac fly, ending the game with a pair of RBIs.
AJ Cieslinski (1-0) tossed the complete game shutout to pick up his first victory of the season. He fanned seven batters and gave up just two hits.
